For Parents, Teachers & Librarians

Wisconsin Water Library > For Parents, Teachers & Librarians

Welcome to the Wisconsin Water Library!

The library has a large collection of childrens book about water – including titles on animals found in and around water, aquatic plants, shipwrecks, beach combing, snow and ice, and more. Many of the books are for young children (in preschool through second grade) but we also have a growing collection of materials for older children and young adults. The collection includes both fiction and nonfiction books and kid-friendly videos.

In addition to books, we offer STEM kits for use by librarians and preschool teachers as well as lesson plans on a variety of water-related topics. We also have some suggestions on where to find additional fun Do It Yourself water science. Just get ready to get wet!
